Rufus Lee Mayes (December 5, 1947 – January 1, 1990) was an American football offensive lineman in the National Football League for the Chicago Bears, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Philadelphia Eagles. He played college football at Ohio State University and high school football for Toledo Macomber.
Rufus died Jan. 1, 1990 at age 42 of bacterial meningitis.
